Permit Expediter in Clark County: The First Conversation

The first conversation is simple and practical.

1. Where is the project? I ask where it's located so I know which jurisdiction it falls under.
2. The checklist. Then we go through a checklist of the documents we need, the plans we need and the applications to fill out.
3. Scope. Once we know the full scope of work and the documents required, I start filling everything out, submitting and getting the process going.

Where my work ends

My work covers the permit itself: I take the project through city or county approval and send out the approved plans. Once construction starts, each trade pulls its own permits, like mechanical, electrical and plumbing, and that part is outside my scope.
